The Mt. Hope girls' volleyball team lost to Classical, 3-1 (22-25, 26-28, 25-20, 29-27) in the Division II semifinals at Classical’s Al Morro gymnasium Thursday night.
“It was as hard as I’ve seen them play,” said Huskies head coach Lisa Lunney. They were all super close games.”
Senior outside hitter Hannah Roderiques led the team with 18 kills, 19 service points, three aces and 18 digs. Junior outside hitter Grace Stephenson tallied 15 kills, 21 service points, two aces and 21 digs. Senior setter Isabel Savinon amassed 33 assists and 14 digs.
The Huskies finished the shortened regular Fall 2 season in third place in Division II-East with a 7-3 record, and 11-3 overall.
