Region pays respects to the late Brian Remy

Posted

Entire sections of Warren came to a standstill last Wednesday night as fire trucks, ambulances, utility vehicles and police cruisers from throughout the New England region showed up to pay their respects to the late Brian Remy, who was put to rest last Thursday. The First Responder Angels, a nonprofit that seeks to honor police, fire and other emergency personnel who have passed away, organized the ride to pay tribute to the man whose murder on Thursday, Sept. 3 continues to confound and shock the community where he was a dedicated firefighter for nearly 50 years.
