Thrive Outside recently announced a new take on their popular Mud Run, “The Great Mud Escape”, a family-friendly course testing your brains and brawn suitable for kids and adults alike on Saturday, Sept. 7 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Frerichs Farm.
For their sixth annual fundraiser, Thrive Outside has reimagined the popular Mud Run which has become an annual staple in the region to challenge not just your physical stamina, but your mental agility as well.
The new concept will test both your ability to move through our half mile course in many new ways including completing both physical and mental challenges which you can do with your family, teams or just by joining one of their scheduled waves. The work you do to complete these obstacles and mental challenges will allow you to “Escape the Mud”, the amazing mud pits we’ve become known for, but of course you can crawl through it if you really want that experience.
Children under the age of 13 must participate with someone over the age of 13 (parent, older sibling, family member), children under age 5 are welcome and free with a signed waiver.
This fundraising event benefits the nonprofit Thrive Outside. Special thanks to our top event supporters including Domina’s Agway, Frerichs Farm, The Guild, Dave’s Fresh Marketplace, Rockland Trust, The Vanech Group and Maryanne and John Mulattieri.
