Monday, Sept. 6
Two women were advised by police on Wheaton Street after arguing over a parking dispute at 2:53 p.m.
Joao Depina, 49, of Warren, was arrested on Main Street at 3:54 p.m. and charged with one count of shoplifting after being observed stealing from a store on surveillance.
A group of juveniles were dispersed from Water Street after being reported for playing loud music at 8:05 p.m.
Tuesday, Sept. 7
Vandalism was reported on Water Street at 7:21 a.m.
A trash bin was reported stolen on Ridgeway Drive at 10:18 a.m.
A sudden death was reported on Croade Street at 1:43 p.m.
Elizabeth Rodrigues, 50, of Warren, was cited at 2:40 p.m. at Metacom Ave and Franklin Street for failing to stop following an accident resulting in damage to a vehicle.
A caller reported that they were run off the road by a construction vehicle and forced into a curb at Metacom Ave and Rosa Boulevard at 2:47 p.m.
A caller on Market Street reported he was punched in the face by an unknown male assailant at 6:53 p.m. The suspect was last seen in a blue sedan leaving the area.
At 8:36 p.m. police investigated a suspicious person report on Child Street regarding a man with a black mask and an “unknown object” in his hand. It was a cell phone.
Wednesday, Sept. 8
Seekonk Police requested assistance at 3:57 p.m. finding an individual involved in a shoplifting incident at Walmart who was also driving a stolen vehicle.
A Warren firefighter reported a possibly-sick opossum inside their fire headquarters at 5:03 p.m.
A door-to-door solicitor for a solar company was advised to get a permit by police in the area of Fatima Drive at 6:06 p.m.
Thursday, Sept. 9
A caller on Union Street reported that a tenant had left a couch on the sidewalk for months without disposing of it at 8:39 a.m. They are advised to call DPW.
One person was transported to Rhode Island Hospital following a car accident at Metacom Ave and Laurel Lane at 12:41 p.m.
Wilbur Davis, 44, of Providence, was arrested on a warrant at 6:36 p.m. on Howard Ave. and charged with three counts of attempted larceny under $1,500.
Friday, Sept. 10
A possibly-injured raccoon wandered into a resident’s house on Patterson Avenue at 9:27 a.m. The animal was transported to a facility to be tested.
The animal control officer investigated the cleanliness of a chicken coup on Kickemuit Road at 10:41 a.m.
Police assisted in solving a neighborly dispute on Seymour Street at 5:45 p.m. regarding unfinished landscaping work and unreturned equipment.
Saturday, Sept. 11
Antonio Sousa, 33, of Warren, was arrested on Child Street at 12:30 a.m. following a motor vehicle stop and charged with DUI of liquor (first offense) and refusal to submit to a breathalyzer. He was arraigned and released.
Gardner Coggeshall, 30, of Bristol, was arrested at 3:00 a.m. following a motor vehicle stop at Main and Haile Streets and charged with DUI of liquor (first offense) and refusal to submit to a breathalyzer. He was arraigned and released.
A caller reported a swan was struck by a vehicle at Child Street and Arlington Avenue and was on the sidewalk at 6:58 a.m. Another caller reported an injured swan in the roadway at Child Street and Kinnicutt Avenue at 7:17 p.m. but the bird was gone upon police arrival. It is unclear if the incidents are related.
Sunday, Sept. 12
A caller on Water Street reported that a man had smashed a car and stolen some money at 11:33 a.m.
Michael Rodrigues, 34, of Warren, was arrested following a resident reporting shouting and banging from an apartment building on Joyce Street at 11:45 a.m. He was charged with larceny under $1,500, vandalism and obstructing an officer in execution of duty and transported to the ACI.
Heather Bessette, 31, of Worcester, Mass., was arrested on a warrant following a motor vehicle stop on Market Street at 9:49 p.m.
