Police continued an investigation of a larceny complaint from a Main Street operation at 4:14 p.m.. A theft suspect had returned to the location and was once again alleged to have shoplifted an item or items. The person departed the spot without capture and the surrounding communities were notified.

Friday, May 23
Police were called to the scene on Old Market Street at 8:40 a.m, after receiving a call of a low hanging wire. The officer on scene out to assist with the situation reported cable had fallen pole to pole, making the road impassible. Verizon was notified, but reported back the wire did not belong to the company. Full Channel was then notified to respond to the matter.

Warren Police and Fire were called to an emergency rescue call from a Market Street location at about 7:45 p.m. Public safety personnel were told a female party had fallen down and appeared to have a head injury and was unconscious. The person was transported to Rhode Island Hospital for further medical attention.
