Letter: 'E' assistance is need for some on the path

To the editor:
I have just finished reading the editorial “Protect the Path” (The East Providence Post, August 25 edition), while I strongly agree with no motorized vehicles on the path, I think you overlook the fact that many of people using E bikes on the path are senior citizens.

For many E assistance is needed in order for them to get out get some fresh air and some exercise.

I don’t think a ban of all E assisted bike would be fair to seniors.

P.S. No, I do not own an E bike.
