Westport police logs: Man arrested on warrant

Monday, Sept. 16

Animal complaints came in from Highland Road at 8:56 a.m., and from Gifford Road 42 minutes later.

An Angel Court resident complained of a civil dispute at 1:21 p.m.

A Hix Bridge Road resident complained of larceny, forgery or fraud at 4:18 p.m.

A caller on Green Street reported a disturbance at 5:35 p.m.

Police pulled over four vehicles and cited one driver over the course of the day.

Tuesday, Sept. 17

Police assisted after a Third Street resident called 911 at 12:37 p.m. to report a disturbance.

Animal complaints came in from Ridgeline Drive at 4:06 p.m.

Police pulled one vehicle over over the course of the day, and cited the driver.

Wednesday, Sept. 18

A Warren Avenue caller reported property damage at 10:42 a.m.

Animal complaints came in from Old County Road at 1:42 p.m.

Police pulled over four vehicles and issued one citation over the course of the day.

Thursday, Sept. 19

Police assisted after a caller from State Road reported a suspicious vehicle at 1:24 a.m.

A 911 caller from Summer Avenue reported a neighbor dispute at 1 p.m. A similar 911 call, this time for a disturbance, came in from Tickle Road at 7:28 p.m.

Police pulled over two vehicles and issued one citation over the course of the day.

Friday, Sept. 20

A Hix Bridge Road resident filed animal complaints at 10:09 a.m.; a similar call came in via 911 from Main Road at 10:48 a.m., and a third came in from Narrow Avenue at 7:19 p.m.

A caller from Borden St. reported a suspicious person at 10:27 a.m.

Jameson Patrick Quinlan, 22, of 261 Main Road, was arrested on an unspecified warrant following a car accident called in from Route 88 and Old County Road at 11:14 a.m.

Police were asked to keep the peace on Indian Trail Road at 1:07 p.m.

Police served a warrant on Briggs Road at 2:17 p.m.

Police tried but were unable to serve a restraining order on Johnson Street at 4:48 p.m.

A 911 caller reported a disturbance on Tickle Road at 9:37 p.m.

Police pulled two vehicles over over the course of the day, but issued no citations.

Saturday, Sept. 21

Police responded to a disturbance on State Road at 11:25 p.m.

Police pulled over seven vehicles and issued one citation over the course of the day.

Sunday, Sept. 22

A 911 caller from Davis Road reported a stolen vehicle at 3:02 a.m.

A caller from Kaila’s Way complained of vandalism at 7:23 a.m.

Animal complaints came in from American Legion Highway at Grand Pine Way at 9:26 a.m. Two similar calls came from the same area 17 minutes later. Unrelated animal complaints came in from Stella Lane at 10:51 p.m. and Seabury Lane at 6:39 p.m.

A caller from Paul Drive reported breaking and entering at 10:31 a.m. A similar call came in from Romano Village Drive at 11:33 a.m.

Police pulled over five vehicles and issued one citation over the course of the day.
