John “J.P.” Perry was awarded the Vicki Van Voast Memorial Award at the annual Bristol Fire Department Firemen’s Memorial and parade event that occurred this past Sunday.
The award is given to the firefighter who exemplifies the same qualities of community spirit, volunteerism, and above all else dedication to the Bristol Volunteer Fire Department that was characterized by one of the Auxiliary’s charter members, Victoria Van Voast.
