Monday, March 14
A vehicle at the guard shack at Colt State Park was reported to have been vandalized at 10:44 a.m.

A man walking in the area of First and State Streets was reported at 6:45 p.m. to be knocking door-to-door. He was gone when police showed up.

Tuesday, March 15
A deer was reported to have been struck on Metacom Avenue near the Warren Town Line at 6:43 a.m., but was gone when authorities showed up to check it out.

Police took down a report of harassment at Mt. Hope High School at 4:32 p.m.

A deceased animal thought to be a dog was reported on the Town Beach near Asylum Road at 5:13 p.m. It turned out to be a dead raccoon that had “been there for some time.” A notification was left for the animal control officer.

A motor vehicle accident near Metacom and Gooding Avenues was reported at 7:56 p.m. It resulted in one female being transported to the hospital.

A Noyes Avenue caller reported at 8:05 p.m. they believed someone was trying to impersonate their wife.

Wednesday, March 16
A dead raccoon was reported on the beach near Brookwood Road at 8:00 a.m., but the high tide kept the animal from being located.

A recklessly driven vehicle near Metacom and Butterworth Avenue was reported at 10:40 p.m. last seen leaving the Burger King in Warren but was not located by police.

Thursday, March 17
A report of a possibly deceased dog in the area of State Street was reported at 10:24 a.m. It turned out to be a paper bag.

A man on Westwood road was reported at 4:09 p.m. going door-to-door to “educate residents.” He was sent on his way by the police.

Friday, March 18
Robert Russo, 38, of Cranston, was arrested at 6:52 a.m. on a warrant and charged with domestic violence (felony assault and/or battery).

Juveniles were reported to be on the Town Common with BB guns at 4:01 p.m. They left prior to the arrival of Bristol PD.

A resident on Beachmont Avenue reported at 4:38 p.m. that their glass cellar door had been shattered in an act of vandalism.

A report from Academy Avenue at 10:55 p.m. indicated there were several vehicles in the area “racing up and down the street shooting air rifles.” However, police did not find anything at the scene.

Saturday, March 19
A report of an animal being stuck in a light post near Hope and Chestnut Streets was logged at 9:45 a.m. The animal control officer reported the animal was able to escape the light post.

Police checked on a report of possible vandalism at Camp Crosby on Annawamscutt Drive at 3:08 p.m., where a door was found to be open.

Vandalism was reported on DeWolf Avenue at 4:33 p.m.

Sunday, March 20
An Arthur Avenue resident reported at 4:37 p.m. that the driver of a black Ford vehicle had littered nips and cigarette packs throughout the neighborhood. Police didn’t find anything at the scene.

Police dispersed two men who were arguing in the area of Fales Road at 5:32 p.m.

Police looked into an incident around 7:56 p.m. where individuals who were pushing a car allegedly almost struck a skateboarder. They dispersed those who were at the scene.
