Bristol police officers made two domestic violence arrests and were called to a number of reportedly loud gatherings from June 18 to 14.

Monday, June 8

Police received two complaints about a party and fireworks on Shaws Lane at 8:22 p.m. An officer responded and found no evidence of either.

A resident complained of fireworks on Mason Avenue at 9:49 p.m.

Tuesday, June 9

After responding to a complaint about a loud party on Constitution Street at 12:51 a.m., an officer asked a small gathering of people to move inside.

After receiving a report of a man with a backpack dumping debris over the side of the Mt. Hope Bridge, a Portsmouth Police officer responded and escorted the man off the bridge.

A caller reported someone riding a dirt bike in the roadway and in an open area between Old Orchard Road and Peckham Place at 5:04 p.m. An officer investigated and found that the biker had permission to ride there and was not violating the noise ordinance.

A resident complained about a gathering and open burning in a Franklin Street driveway at 11:20 p.m. A patrolman responded and the fire was extinguished.

Wednesday, June 10

After receiving a call about an intoxicated man who was arguing with family at 10 p.m., officers responded and arrested Cody Federico, 18, of 359 Metacom Ave., Bristol. He was charged with domestic assault, arraigned at the station and released.

A Wood Street resident complained of noise coming from a neighboring apartment at 11:07 p.m.

Thursday, June 11

Police questioned an older man wearing a Red Sox jacket who was seen attempting to open doors to homes in the area of Bradford Street and Murphy Avenue at 3:07 p.m. They called rescue to the scene for an evaluation.

Officers were called to the area of Franklin and Wood streets at 11:32 p.m. for a reported fight between a woman and multiple men. It was verbal only; there were no arrests.

Friday, June 12

A resident on Casey Drive called to report that their house had been egged overnight.

Corey D. Rogers, 33, of 16 Prospect St., Bristol, reported to the station at 10:41 a.m. on a warrant. He was charged with domestic assault and domestic disorderly conduct and later taken to District Court in Providence.

A resident reported men yelling at each other on Wapping Drive at 9:51 p.m. Officer responded but found no problems; they were outside sitting on a deck.

Officers dispersed a group of people from the corner of State Street and Goulart Avenue at 10:03 p.m.

A caller reported loud music and a loud group of people on Evelyn Drive at 11:53 p.m. An officer investigated and reported no noise upon arrival, but he advised the residents of the complaint.

Saturday, June 13

A patrolman dispersed two people from the Town Common gazebo at 12:24 a.m.

A caller complained about a large gathering with loud noise at 12:25 a.m. on Linden Street. An officer reported finding a small gathering, with everyone inside.

An officer dispersed people in two cars from the Belltower Plaza parking lot at 2:12 a.m.

Officer dispersed people from Mason Avenue at 8:17 a.m. after responding to a complaint about a verbal argument.

A caller reported juveniles had climbed a fence and gotten onto the roof of a shed along Burnside Street, before jumping off a dock into the water at 3:52 p.m. An officer responded but did not find them. Police later received a second complaint about juveniles being loud, jumping off the dock and yelling at people.

A caller complained about hearing fireworks somewhere in the area of the Narrows at 8:39 p.m. An officer investigated and ultimately found the party on Rosedale. They were advised to move things inside for the night.

At 9:44 p.m., a caller complained about fireworks in the area of Sherman Avenue.

At 11:41 p.m., a caller reported a motor vehicle accident on the Mt. Hope Bridge, with one of the vehicles leaving the scene and heading toward Bristol before officers arrived. Officers checked the area but did not locate the vehicle.

Sunday, June 14

A caller complained about a loud party on Third Street at 12:11 a.m. Residents were advised to quiet down for the night.

A caller reported people on the back deck of their Wood Street residence making noise at 12:23 a.m. An officer advised them to move inside for the night.

Someone reported two women arguing at the intersection of Wood and Franklin streets at 11:08 a.m.

A passing patrolman was flagged down and alerted to a group of four juveniles who were jumping off a pier at the end of Burnside Street at 4:15 p.m. The officer dispersed them from the area.

Someone complained of fireworks in the area of State and Wood streets at 4:46 p.m.

Someone accused of trespassing was dispersed from Griswold Avenue at 5:24 p.m.

Someone complained of fireworks in the area of Second and State streets at 6:07 p.m.

A caller complained about a group of juveniles who left trash in the Colt School playground, and were using profanity and playing vulgar music at 7:27 p.m.

A caller reported loud music and a group of 15 to 20 people at a residence on Lafayette Drive at 7:58 p.m. A patrolman reported no noise and a small gathering in the back yard. They were advised of the complaint.

A resident reported seeing a red glow in the area of Belvedere Drive at 10:54 p.m. A patrolman discovered a small cooking fire at a nearby residence, which was extinguished for the evening.

A caller complained about people outside talking loudly on Goulart Avenue at 11:32 p.m. They were advised of the complaint.
