Bristol Police made only one arrest from Nov. 30 to Dec. 6, for a woman who allegedly entered someone else's home illegally, but it had the typical array of neighbor, nuisance and animals calls to respond to. Following are excerpts from the police incident log.

Monday, Nov., 30

A resident on Michael Drive called police to report someone illegally putting items into a dumpster. Police contacted the man, who agreed to come back and retrieve the items.

An officer responded to the area of Shore and Gibson roads at 1:16 p.m. to speak to two people who were sleeping inside a red Toyota. They were dispersed from the area.

A resident reported people yelling, both inside and outside of a vehicle parked on Siegel Street, at 10:50 p.m.

Tuesday, Dec. 1

A resident on Naomi Street complained about a rooster at 7:24 a.m.

An officer warned a dog owner who allowed their canine to run free at the Town Beach and sports complex at 9:45 a.m.

After receiving a complaint about a speeding or reckless vehicle on Hope Street, an officer caught up with the vehicle at the State Street Dock and spoke to the driver.

A Bay View Avenue resident called to complain about a roommate.

Police received four separate calls about loose dogs on Hope Street, High Street, Mulberry Road and Narrows Road during the course of the day.

Officers were called to Prospect Street twice regarding a domestic situation between 8:30 and 9:30 p.m. Rescue was called to the scene, but there were no arrests.

Wednesday, Dec. 2

Someone called police at 1:40 a.m. to report a utility worker walking through yards along Jefferson Lane. An officer responded and found a National Grid worker who was trying to locate the source of a power outage.

Units responded to the corner of Franklin and Wood streets at 8:16 p.m. because someone was burning leaves in an open field.

Thursday, Dec. 3

It was a relatively quiet day for the department. Officers secured an open door on Annawamscutt Drive, helped corral a loose dog and looked for a junenile who was “acting out” and had left the home.

Friday, Dec. 4

An officer spoke to residents on Congregational Street after a complaint about loud music at 2:01 a.m.

A Duffield Road resident reported unemployment fraud.

Graffiti was discovered spray-painted in the area of the baseball fields at the town sports complex.

At 6:49 p.m., a Richmond Street resident notified police that a woman could be seen on camera inside her apartment with a bottle of liquor. Officers responded but the scene was clear. A few hours later, they tracked down the suspect and took her into custody. Sophie K. Reynolds, 38, of 31 Fox Hill Ave., Bristol, was charged with unlawful breaking and entering. She was arraigned at the station by a justice of the peace and released.

Fall River Police notified Bristol Police at 11:49 p.m. that they had traced a 911 call, involving a man and woman arguing, to an area of Franca Drive. Bristol officers responded to the area and spoke with Franca homeowners but did not find any evidence of an argument or problem.

Saturday, Dec. 5

A Pearse Avenue resident reported vandalism to Christmas lights.

Sunday, Dec. 6

A caller reported a large party at a Gladding Street residence at 12:07 a.m. A patrolman responded and found no evidence of a party, or noise, just members of the same family.

Officers responded to a High Street residence for a domestic disturbance at 9:58 a.m. One person was removed from the property.

Someone reported loose dogs on the baseball field at the town sports complex off Asylum Road.
