EAST PROVIDENCE — The Ninth Annual edition of the Rhode Island Folk Music Festival took place Sunday, Aug. 27, at Crescent Park in Riverside.
The festival featured three stages on the grounds of the park: The Band Shell Stage, the main location with views looking out at the Providence River; The Songbird Stage with its more intimate listening experience; And the Emerging Songwriters stage, new to the festival this year for open mic style performances.
