First place Tiverton boys move to 9-0

Tiverton boosted its division record to 9-0 last Wednesday with an 88-70 home win over Central Falls. The win left the Tigers, 11-3 overall, atop their division.

The Tigers led 40-33 at halftime and built their lead from there.

It was a big game for Tiverton’s Carson Hart, who scored 28 points, including six 3-pointers.

Game high scorer was Central Falls’ Sergio Velez, who hit for 32 points with seven three-pointers.

Also scoring for Tiverton were Tyler Murray with 22; Stephen Gacioch, 16; Michael Hrygein, 8; Aaron Carreiro and Elias Skarpos, 6; and Aaron Soares, 2.
