Nearly a month removed from a major gas leak that crippled commerce and forced residents from their homes along Water Street, close to 30 Water St. residents and business owners continue to seek answers on the much-maligned Water Street Streetscape project.

The state Department of Health DEM are advising people to avoid contact with Turner Reservoir in East Providence due to a blue-green algae bloom in the pond. Blue-green algae can produce toxins, including microcystins, that can harm humans and animals.
