The League of Women Voters of Rhode Island and the East Bay Media Group are sponsoring two Candidates’ Forums to be held at the Barrington Library from 6 to 9 p.m.   on Tuesday, Oct. 18.

Barrington candidates meet in live forum Tuesday night

The League of Women Voters of Rhode Island and the East Bay Media Group are sponsoring two Candidates’ Forums to be held at the Barrington Library from 6 to 9 p.m.  on Tuesday, Oct. 18.

Candidates will be answering questions submitted by the public. Candidates for Barrington Town Council are Kathleen Berard, Raymond Clark, Braxton Medlin and Jarrod Ryan. Candidates for the Barrington School Committee are William Bell, Thomas Peck, Margaret Reid and Rudy Seber. The forums will be in Zoom format, with the candidates gathered in person, but with no live audience. The session will be viewable live and will be recorded for viewing later ( www.lwvri.org. “Candidate Forums”).

Everyone is welcome to send in questions by Friday, Oct. 14 to Naomi Kennedy: nekkennedy@yahoo.com. The moderator from East Bay Media Group, Scott Pickering, will choose the questions to be asked.
