The Barrington High School boys cross country team captured the Class B Championship at Ponaganset High School on Saturday afternoon, Oct. 28.
The Eagles had three runners finish in the top-10 spots — Myles Napolitano crossed the line fourth with a time of 16:50.17; Brandon Piedade finished sixth with a time of 17:08.69; and Eliot Lefort was ninth with a time of 17:37.40.
The victory continued what has been a stellar season for the BHS boys cross country race. The Eagles finished the regular season undefeated, and boasting a victory over LaSalle Academy.
Other BHS runners to score key points for the Eagles were Marius Bonard, who was 12th overall and finished with a time of 17:59.97; Connor Curran finished 13th with a time of 18:04.25; Daniel Chun was 15th overall with a time of 18:10.58; and Michael Chun was 44th with a time of 20:15.83.
Next up for the Eagles is a trip to the Cross Country State Championship on Saturday at 3 p.m.
