Barrington’s Alfred Drown neighborhood had its highest recorded home sale recently.

The house at 17 Willow Way, which overlooks Narragansett Bay and Allin’s Cove, sold for $2.25 million. According to data maintained by the RI Statewide MLS, this transaction marks the highest sale ever in Barrington’s Alfred Drown neighborhood.

The seller was represented by Residential Properties’ Eddie Rayden. The buyer was represented by Compass’ Lindsay Mitchell.

The four-bedroom, 4.5-bath contemporary style home features more than 4,200-square feet of living space.

“The sleek design begins on the ground floor with a foyer, mudroom, and access to the integral single and tandem garages,” stated a press release from Residential Properties. “Upstairs, the open living area showcases oak hardwood flooring and high ceilings with a massive, wrap-around composite deck allowing for unparalleled entertaining. The cutting-edge chef’s kitchen presents Euro-style cabinetry, a large waterfall center island, and Bosch appliances.”

The home also has a water-facing den and a bedroom suite with private bath.

“This property is truly exceptional — from its breathtaking water views, to its well-appointed design elements,” said Mitchell. “Acquiring a home this extraordinary for my valued clients brings me immense satisfaction.”
