A Rumstick Road resident in Barrington called 911 at about 12:50 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 11, and reported that an unknown and unwanted woman was inside his home.

Barrington Police responded to the home and spoke to the intruder. The 17-year-old Warren girl told police she had been working at the Rhode Island Country Club that night and had consumed three shots of alcohol and smoked some marijuana. The teenager told police she decided to walk home but then became lost and thought she was at a friend’s house.

Police also spoke with officials at the country club. They told police the girl had been relieved of her duties that night.

Police called the girl’s father who came and picked her up. No one was charged.
