The Barrington Majors Division Softball team started its All Stars campaign with a 16-3 win over Portsmouth on Monday night, June 25, at Barrington High School. 

Barrington sprinted out to a fast start, scoring 10 runs in the first inning and never looked back. 

Piper Morrissey got the win for Barrington, limiting Portsmouth to two runs while striking out three batters in two innings. 

Sarah Clegg and Delaney Masse also pitched for Barrington and combined to strike out five Portsmouth batters over two innings. 

Barrington’s offense got contributions up and down the lineup with RBIs from Clegg, Addison Lubelczyk, Maddy Piazza and Maci Smith. Daylen Baillie also provided a timely hit.

Barrington will play at Tiverton tonight, Wednesday, June 26, at 5:45 p.m.
