The Barrington High School boys ice hockey team defeated Burrillville 2-1 in a Division I showdown on Wednesday night, Dec. 13. 

The Eagles improved to 2-0 and share the top spot in the division with Prout School. Burrillville dropped to 1-1 in the D-I standings.

Trevor Snow opened the scoring for Barrington at the 9:27 mark of the first period. Adam Gorman and Ayden Sheedy assisted on the goal.

Henry Kelsey doubled Barrington’s lead in the second period. Cody Wood assisted on Kelsey's goal. 

Burrillville made it 2-1 at 6:24 in the third period, but the Eagles held on for the victory. 

Cam Siwik made 34 saves in net for the Eagles — 12 in the first period, 12 in the second and 10 in the third. 

Barrington will play against Bishop Hendricken on Saturday afternoon, Dec. 16, at 5:30 p.m. The game will be played at Thayer Arena.
