Holy Angels Church prepares for Fall Pasta Dinner

Church official: ‘We're really looking forward to this’

It’s been awhile since Holy Angels Church has hosted a macaroni dinner in its spacious downstairs church hall area, but that’s all about to change on Thursday, Nov. 9, from 4 to 7 p.m. when the Holy Angels Social Events Committee hosts its “Fall Pasta Dinner” for all to enjoy.

"We haven't hosted a dinner in the church hall since 2019, so it's time,” said Social Events Committee member Shawn DeHart. “We're really looking forward to this."

Mr. DeHart said there is limited seating and there are advance ticket sales only. This will be an eat-in or takeout event for teens and adults.

He added, “Tickets are $20 each and available until Friday, Nov. 3 at 8 p.m. Call or text Judy at 465-8439 or Barbara at 249-1104.”

The menu includes hearty minestrone soup, antipasto, penne pasta, two meatballs, bread and butter, choice of soft drink or water, coffee and dessert. Children’s (ages 6-12) dinners are $10 and will be “smaller portions for smaller appetites.” That menu features hearty minestrone soup, antipasto, penne pasta, one meatball, bread and butter, choice of soft drink or water, and dessert. Children 5 & younger are free and will enjoy free penne pasta, one meatball, bread and butter, choice of soft drink or water, and dessert.

Mr. DeHart wants to remind those attending that the dinner is being held downstairs in the elevator-accessible church hall. The elevator is accessible via the lobby in the Parish Office, which is adjacent to the church.
