Police say woman faces four different charges

Posted

Barrington Police received a 911 call for a disturbance on Coach Murgo Lane at about 2:20 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 9.

Officers responded to the scene and spoke with the parties involved — a Providence woman said she had given her boyfriend’s ex-girlfriend a ride to Barrington to pick up her children. Once they arrived at the home there was an altercation, police said.

During the incident, a 26-year-old Barrington woman allegedly poured bleach all over the Providence woman’s clothes and car. The Barrington woman then fled the scene.

Police plan to charge the Barrington woman with four misdemeanor offenses — simple assault, disorderly conduct, larceny under $1,500, and vandalism.
