Barrington Police: Suspect drove a red Prius

Posted

A Sowams Road resident called Barrington Police on Thursday, Dec. 1 to report that two packages had been stolen from her front porch.

The resident told police that she observed through her doorbell camera a man wearing glasses and pajama pants walk up to her porch and take the packages, which had been delivered shortly before the incident.

The resident said the man was driving a red Toyota Prius. She gave license plate information to the police, but the registration did not match the description of the vehicle. Police are still investigating.
