An event will be held at Barrington Town Hall on June 24 at 1 p.m.  to celebrate Pride Month.

“United With Pride” will include a rally, ceremonial flag-raising, and an accessible parade from the town hall to the Barrington Shopping Center, and back.

“At its June 5, 2023 meeting, the Barrington Town Council unanimously passed a resolution in recognition of Pride Month for the fourth consecutive year,” stated a press release from Jacob Brier.

“The resolution encourages all in town to joyously celebrate Barrington Pride Month, and calls for the Town to work with members of the community to conduct a flag-raising ceremony. United With Pride was established to fulfill this commitment in an inclusive, energizing and community-centered way.”
