Enormous book fair returns to Westport this weekend

The Westport Friends 59th annual Book Fair returns after a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic. It will be under three huge main tents with over 30,000 books for sale. There will no refreshments for sale this year. Cash or checks accepted. Credit cards are accepted (Master Card or Visa) the first two days of the sale only. On opening day, the grounds and restrooms open at 9 a.m. The sale begins at 10 a.m. with hundreds of books at six for $1 or 25 cents each.

WHAT: Westport Friends Book Fair

WHEN: Saturday, July 9, through July 17, rain or shine. Hours on opening day are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

WHERE: Westport Friends, 938 Main Road, Westport
