A 16-year-old Tiverton girl reported missing late last month has been found.

Police said Avah Flower, 16, was found last week, days after her mother reported her missing on Friday, March 31.

In announcing that the teen was found safe and sound, police asked the public to respect Avah’s family’s privacy given the extreme fear and emotions they'd gone through over the previous week.

Flower was reportedly wearing a grey rain jacket, black pants and light colored shoes, and may be carrying a grey or black duffle bag, when she went missing. Police said she could be in the Fall River area, but didn't comment last week on the circumstances around her being found.
