Town-wide COW cleanup is next Saturday, Sept. 24

Team C.O.W. (Clean Our Westport) will hold its fall cleanup Saturday, Sept. 24 (above, last year's haul). The all-volunteer event runs from from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. All volunteers should meet at the old high school south parking lot at 19 Main Road at 9 a.m. to register and pick up cleaning tools and trash bags, which are provided free of charge. Also free are coffee and pastry at the registration site. Team COW runs the yearly cleanup in partnership with the Westport River Watershed Alliance.
