Westport police logs: Two face DUI charges

Monday, July 17

A caller reported an accident on Route 88 at 5:44 a.m. Another, with injuries, was reported on State Road at 12:20 p.m.

Animal complaints came in from State Road at 10:20 a.m., and from Adamsville Road just over an hour later.

A caller reported “juvenile offenses” on Highland Avenue at 4:14 p.m.

A 911 caller reported a motor vehicle violation on Route 195 at 4:27 p.m.

A Sanford Road resident complained of harassment at 7:24 p.m.

A caller from Main Road reported suspicious activity at 10:21 p.m.

Police pulled over three vehicles and issued two citations over the course of the day.

Tuesday, July 18

A Hobart Street resident called in an animal complaint at 12:38 a.m.

Police responded to a neighbor dispute on Meadow Road after receiving a call at 9:35 a.m.

A Hix Bridge Road resident filed an animal complaint at 9:42 a.m. Another, similar call came in from West Beach Road at 7:45 p.m.

A caller reported an accident on State Road at 11:04 a.m. Another, with injuries, was reported on Route 195 at 5:42 p.m.

A Main Road resident complained of larceny, forgery or fraud at 1:48 p.m.

A Barbara Street caller complained of noise at 8:36 p.m.

Police pulled over one vehicle and issued one citation over the course of the day.

Wednesday, July 19

Animal complaints came in from Old County Road at 12:27 p.m.

Police tried but were unable to serve a restraining order on Devol Avenue at 3:29 p.m.

A caller from Drift Road complained of threats at 10:13 p.m.

Police responded to Faulkner Street after receiving a 911 call regarding a civil dispute at 10:42 p.m.

Police pulled over four vehicles and issued one citation over the course of the day.

Thursday, July 20

Police tried but were unable to serve a restraining order on Devol Avenue at 9:10 a.m.

A resident reported an accident on Main Road at 11:44 a.m.

Police tried but were unable to serve a warrant on State Road at 12:12 p.m.

A Sodom Road resident reported identity fraud at 8:25 p.m.

Two noise complaints came in from Mouse Mill Road, the first at 9:36 p.m., the second at 10:12 p.m.

Police pulled over five vehicles and issues two citations over the course of the day.

Friday, July 21

A caller reported an accident on Route 88 at 7:16 a.m.

Police tried but were unable to serve a restraining order on Devol Avenue at 8:37 a.m.

A Horsneck Road resident complained of property damage at 5:08 p.m.

Police pulled over 19 vehicles and issued 17 citations over the course of the day. In addition, parking enforcement cited two cars.

Saturday, July 22

Travis Jacob Perry, 21, of 779 Sodom Road, was charged with operating under the influence and negligent operation of a motor vehicle, after police pulled him over on Sanford Road at 1:08 a.m.

Healther Lee Cabral, 34, of 976 North Main St., Apt. 3, Fall River, was charged with operating under the influence and negligent operation of a motor vehicle, after police pulled her over on Old Bedford Road at 5:01 a.m.

A caller from Sanford Road reported a suspicious person at 6:22 a.m., but police deemed it unfounded.

A caller from B Drive reported a disturbance at 8:43 a.m.

A Main Road resident lodged an animal complaint at 7:23 p.m.

A caller reported a suspicious vehicle on Fallon Drive at 9:30 p.m.

A 911 caller reported a disturbance on State Road at 11:42 p.m.

A caller from Devol Avenue reported juvenile offenses at 11:53 p.m.

Police pulled over five vehicles and issued two citations over the course of the day.

Sunday, July 23

A caller reported a suspicious car on First Street at 1:29 a.m.

Animal complaints came in from White Oak Run at 8:37 a.m.

A 911 caller reported an accident with injuries on American Legion Highway at 4:20 p.m. Another, with no injuries noted, was reported on East Beach Road at 5:32 p.m.

911 callers reported motor vehicle violations on Cherry and Webb Lane (5:56 p.m.) and Adamsville Road (9:43 p.m.).

A 911 caller reported a suspicious person on State Road at 6:25 p.m.

Police pulled over seven vehicles and issued four citations over the course of the day.

Monday, July 24

Animal complaints came in from East Beach Road just before 6 a.m., and again at 11:33 a.m., and from Grove Street at 3:26 p.m.

A caller reported suspicious activity on State Road just after 2 p.m.

A neighbor dispute on Faulkner Street was called in at 4:36 p.m.

Police were called just before 7:30 p.m. to keep the peace on Johnson Street.

A caller reported a suspicious auto at Ridgeline Drive and Sodom Road at 8:43 p.m. Police had it towed.

Police pulled over one car, but issued no citations, over the course of the day.

Tuesday, July 25

Animal complaints came in from Route 88 at 5:57 a.m.

A caller from Meadow Road reported the theft of a vehicle at 6:34 a.m.

A White Oak Run resident reported a neighbor dispute just before noon.

A Pine Hill Road resident reported the violation of a restraining order shortly before 3 p.m.

A 911 caller reported a suspicious person on American Legion Highway just before 8 p.m. Police investigated.

Police pulled over 11 vehicles and issued four citations over the course of the day.

Wednesday, July 26

A 911 caller reported an accident on American Legion Highway at 8:40 a.m. Another, on Plymouth Boulevard, was called in via 911 at 2:38 p.m.

Police reported recovering a stolen vehicle on Hix Bridge Road at 10:11 a.m.

A Strawberry Lane resident reported identity fraud at 5:42 p.m. A similar call came in from Heritage Drive at 6:47 p.m.

Police pulled over five vehicles and issued three citations over the course of the day.

Thursday, July 27

A larceny, forgery or fraud complaint came in from State Road at 3:46 p.m.

Police served a restraining order on Clover Lane at 4:04 p.m.

Police pulled over eight vehicles and issued seven citations over the course of the day.

Friday, July 28

A caller from Main Road reported shoplifting just before 12:30 p.m.

Larceny, forgery or fraud was reported by a Hix Bridge Road resident at 2:18 p.m.

Police served a restraining order on Sanford Road at 3:08 p.m.

A shoplifting call came in from State Road at 7:13 p.m.

Police pulled over 20 vehicles and issued 14 citations over the course of the day.

Saturday, July 29

Callers reported suspicious vehicles on State Road (2:35 a.m.), Blossom Road (2:41 a.m.) and American Legion Highway (2:57 a.m.).

A 911 caller reported an accident with injuries on American Legion Highway at 3:33 p.m.

Police pulled over five vehicles and issued two citations over the course of the day.

Sunday, July 30

A caller reported a disturbance on State Road at 1:37 a.m.

A Hix Bridge Road resident reported suspicious activity at 9:56 a.m.

A D Drive resident complained of larceny, forgery or fraud at 4:51 p.m.

Police did not report pulling over any vehicles over the course of the day.
