For the second year in a row, Westport Middle High School students are collecting lightly used prom attire to benefit their classmates who may not have the means to buy new. The students started their “pop-up” prom shop last year, selling donated items to classmates at modest prices. This year’s drive started at the beginning of the month and runs through Friday, March 24. If you have anything to donate, you can drop it off at the school weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Above, organizers of last year’s drive pose with members of the Harlem Wizard basketball team, who came to town last year to help them promote the drive.
