Warren Police made five arrests, including one involving tracking down a man wanted out of Lincoln for multiple sexual assault charges, between Oct. 2-9, 2023.

Warren PD find man wanted for multiple sexual assault charges in Lincoln

Monday, Oct. 2
Dana Healey, 42, of 66 Joyce St., Apt. #19, Warren, was arrested following a report of two women arguing outside an Arlington Avenue address at 10:21 a.m. She was charged with two counts of simple assault and/or battery and one count of disorderly conduct. She was transported to court later that afternoon.

Police dispersed people who were fishing off the bike path near Main Street at 11:46 a.m.

A football coach called police at 4:33 p.m. when a man playing frisbee with his dog off a lease refused to leave the field on Asylum Road despite football practice starting shortly. The man left before police arrived.

A pizza box in the oven resulted in a fire alarm on Child Street at 9:26 p.m.

Tuesday, Oct. 3
An accident on Main and Luther Streets at 2:52 p.m. resulted in a call to special hazards to clean up a fluid spill. No one was injured.

A caller reported that a man was closely following two young men on Liberty Street at 3:58 p.m. No one was found in the area.

Police looked into a possible threat made by a student at KMS at 4:37 p.m.

Police dispersed a man from a parking lot on Market Street who was allegedly yelling on the phone and making people uncomfortable at 10:25 p.m.

Stephen Sylvia, 39, of 19 Hezekiah Dr., Warren, was arrested on a 24-hour warrant at 11:50 p.m. and charged with three counts of domestic violence (vandalism, cyberstalking and cyber harassment, and disorderly conduct, all first offenses). He was transported to court the next morning.

Wednesday, Oct. 4
Danny Gomes, 44, of 84 Spring St., Manville, RI, was arrested following the report of a suspicious vehicle on Waterview Lane at 4:55 p.m. and related to a BOLO report from Lincoln PD issued at 4:45 p.m. Gomes was arrested on a warrant from that town involving 24-hour domestic charges and three charges of sexual assault. He was transported into the custody of Lincoln PD at 6:01 p.m.

Thursday, Oct. 5
A man reported his mirror had been struck at 8:29 a.m. while parked on Water Street.

A Seymour Street resident reported at 11:13 a.m. that a $10 bill was left on the rear windshield wiper of their vehicle, and were concerned it was related to illicit activity.

A woman from Child Street came into police headquarters at 11:43 a.m. to notify them she had received unspecified narcotics in a package.

Friday, Oct. 6
Toby Moran, 47, of 231 Child St., Apt. #2nd, Warren, was arrested on Child Street at 11:10 a.m. He was charged with two counts of manufacturing/delivery/possession with the intent to manufacture/deliver a schedule I-II controlled substance (second offense), and one charge of conspiracy. He was arraigned and released later that evening.

A caller reported a driver in a black Camaro engaged in a road rage incident, swerving in and out of traffic near Franklin and Main Streets at 3:08 p.m. after being stuck behind a school bus.

Saturday, Oct. 7
The animal control officer reported a complaint of turkeys on the tennis courts at Burr’s Hill Park at 10:37 a.m.

Police received a report of a man on a bicycle wearing pajama pants and carrying a rifle wrapped in a brown blanket. A second caller reported a man on the bike path south of Kelly Street, this time with two rifles. Barrington PD was also notified, but no one was found in the area.

Sean Seimbab, 48, of 21 Butterworth Dr., Warren, was arrested following an incident on Butterworth Drive at 8:08 p.m. He was charged with two counts of domestic violence (simple assault and/or batter, and disorderly conduct, both first offenses). He was arraigned and released.

Sunday, Oct. 8
Warren fire volunteers responded to the area of Metacom Avenue and Libby Lane at 3:34 p.m. following multiple reports of a vehicle on fire. They were able to get the fire under control shortly afterwards, and RIDOT was notified of melted vehicle debris in the roadway afterwards. The incident was cleared up by 4:12 p.m.

A caller reported a hit and run accident near Kickemuit Road and Metacom Avenue at 6:46 p.m. involving a gray Kia sedan.

Monday, Oct. 9
Police dispersed a group of four male juveniles from a playground on Water Street who were being noisy at 2:01 a.m.
