Harassment from a neighbor on Main Street was reported at 8:48 a.m.

Two people were dispersed from Vernon Street at 9:19 a.m.

A report from 12:54 p.m. indicated that a child brought a knife to Kickemuit Middle School.

Michael C. Bancroft, 55, of 325 Child St., Warren, was arrested following an accident on Metacom Avenue at 5:47 p.m. He was charged with DUI of liquor (BAC unknown, first offense), and refusal to submit to a breathalyzer. He was arraigned and released later that evening.

An argument over a video game resulted in a noise complaint on Frank Court at 11:27 p.m.

Tuesday, Nov. 21
A caller reported damage to a window of their home on Kelly Street at 10:56 a.m., related to a possible breaking and entering incident.

Rhode Island Energy was notified 11:29 a.m. of a telephone pole on Wood Street that was rotted and beginning to lean.

A caller on Long Lane reported they had struck a deer at 3:45 p.m.

Wednesday, Nov. 22
A fraudulent check was reported from a Pine Lane resident at 7:30 a.m.

Warren PD received a report from Bristol PD that they had received a threatening email regarding their schools. Highlander Charter School also confirmed receiving the same threatening email. Warren PD spoke with district officials and principals about it.

A Market Street resident reported at 2:03 p.m. that a trash truck had damaged a window on their home.

A Child Street resident reported at 3:34 p.m. that another tenant in their building had stolen a package of theirs, and that they had video evidence.
A deer that had been injured was reported on the baseball field on Asylum Road at 6:23 p.m. It had to be euthanized, and DEM was advised.

John T. Griffin, 54, of 33 Miller St., Warren, was arrested on Water Street at 8:06 p.m. following an accident with two parked vehicles. He was charged with DUI of liquor (BAC unknown, first offense), failure to stop for an accident, and refusal to submit to a breathalyzer. He was arraigned and released later that evening.

Police searched for a man who was reportedly wearing a leather jacket who was observed to be urinating in public near Liberty and Main Streets at 10:12 p.m. He wasn’t in the area when police arrived.

Thursday, Nov. 23
Police dispersed someone from a Child Street apartment at 12:17 p.m. after the resident reported they had walked in without permission.

Friday, Nov. 24
Scott Bizier, 55, of 29 King St., Warren, was arrested following an alleged hit and run incident on Market Street at 3:06 p.m. He was charged with failure to stop for an accident resulting in damage to a vehicle, and driving with an invalid license (4th+ offense). He was arraigned and released later that afternoon.

Police advised a business on Water Street to lower the volume of a band playing outside during the Holiday Festival after receiving multiple noise complaints around 5:38 p.m.

Multiple people went to the hospital after an accident near Child Street and Arlington Avenue at 9:08 p.m.

Saturday, Nov. 25
Police received a report that a gray truck had hit two parked cars on Water Street around 11:41 a.m. before fleeing the scene.

Police investigated a report of an abandoned baby stroller at the Baker Street playground at 6:55 p.m. They didn’t find any information pertaining to an owner, and no signs of a child.

Sunday, Nov. 26
A Touisset Road resident called police to report someone throwing a coffee cup on their front lawn at 10:00 a.m.

Warren marine rescue units responded to a kayaker in distress in the Warren River behind Trafford’s Restaurant at 10:36 a.m. They were successfully located and brought safely to shore.

People reportedly smoking in an indoor hallway at an apartment on Metacom Avenue were spoken to at 9:30 p.m. about the complaint.
