Second- and third-graders from Nayatt, Primrose Hill and Sowams elementary schools will perform “Twisted Tales” on June 15 and 16.
The play is a delightful romp through familiar stories with a whimsical twist that will leave audience members laughing and cheering for more. In these magical productions, kids will get to see their favorite characters like never before, as they navigate through hilarious mixed-up scenarios that will ignite their imagination and creativity.
“At our heart, we believe in the power of theater to spark joy and curiosity in young minds,” said Dena Davis, of Arts Alive! “Introducing children to the wonders of live performance at a young age can inspire a lifelong love of the arts and foster invaluable skills like empathy, teamwork, and confidence.”
Each school will have a dedicated performance; all shows will be at Barrington High School. The schedule is as follows:
• Primrose Hill School on June 15 at 2:30 p.m.
• Nayatt School on June 15 at 6:30 p.m.
• Sowams School on June 16 at noon.
Tickets are general admission and cost $10 for adults and $5 for students. Tickets will be available online at www.artsalivebarrington.org as well as at the door (cash and Venmo) before each performance.
