The Barrington Arts Festival and Community Fair will be held on Sunday, June 2, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. outside Barrington Town Hall.

The Arts Festival will features dozens of artists and their original works, which will include oil and acrylic painting, watercolor, drawing, pastel, mixed media, photography, glass, print making, sculpture, wood, ceramics, original books, jewelry, and metal and textiles. People can visit the artists’ booths and browse the creations.

The Community Fair will also offer a wide variety of vendors, activities and food options. The vendors will offer crafts, authors, floral pieces, jewelry, herbalists, leather goods, health and beauty, pet products, weaving, wood crafts, and clothiers.

Also located on the Town Hall campus will be a number of food trucks and tents from food vendors.

In addition, the fair will feature live entertainment — there will be at least two bands playing and three dance performances.

Kids activities will include face-painting (from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.), bubbles (from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.), balloons (from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.), and painting for kids (from 11 to 2:30 or until supplies run out).

The Barrington Recreation Department has also lined up a shuttle to run to and from the high school parking lot, so people do not have to worry about finding parking spaces in downtown Barrington.
