The Eagles duo knocked off a doubles team from East Greenwich in the finals, 6-3, 6-2.

Barrington actually had all three of its doubles teams reach the quarterfinals of the state tournament. Kupperman and Anderson defeated a team from North Smithfield, 6-0, 6-0, in the round of 16, and then matched up against their teammates, Justin Kuo and Garrett Meehan in the quarterfinals. Kupperman and Anderson won the match, 6-3, 6-4. (Kuo and Meehan reached the quarters with a three-set win over a North Kingstown team, 7-6, 4-6, 6-4.)

Zach Spear and Henry Birbiglia reached the semifinals with a 6-4, 6-0 win over a Mount St. Charles team in the quarterfinals. In the semis, the Barrington team lost to the East Greenwich team, that lost to Anderson and Kupperman in the finals.
