Members of the Barrington High School boys outdoor track team brought home three top-six finishes at the New England Championships on Saturday, June 8. The event was held at the University of New Hampshire.
The Eagles’ Ethan Knight ran to a fourth-place finish in the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 38.97 seconds.
Bobby Wind, a BHS junior, finished fifth in the 110-meter hurdles with time of 14.53 seconds.
And the Eagles’ 4x100-meter relay team finished sixth with a time of 43.07 seconds. The team features Iain DeBoth, Knight, Charly Potter and Wind.
Barrington also had two student-athletes clear 6 feet, 5 inches in the high jump — Caleb Satisfield and Chucky Potter. BHS Coach Bill Barrass said he believes these were the highest jumps for a Barrington student-athlete in at least 20 years.
