Eagles finish season with undefeated record

The Barrington High School boys tennis team capped an undefeated season with a 4-2 win over LaSalle Academy in the Division I State Championship finals on Saturday night, June 1, at Slater Park in Pawtucket.

The Eagles went 12-0 during the regular season, including a 6-1 victory over LaSalle in early April and a 5-2 win over the Rams in mid-May. Barrington topped Moses Brown 4-0 in the semifinals.

The championship match ran late on Saturday night, and shortly after the Eagles won the deciding point, the lights at Slater Park turned off.
