Tap-In, the non-profit that has been helping East Bay residents in need for more than three decades, is looking for a little assistance.
Tap-In is seeking volunteers to help with grant-writing, IT and management. The volunteer functions can be done from home and on a flexible time schedule.
“Both are unpaid voluntary positions, but they are a great way for you to keep your skills fresh, help our staff create efficiencies, and help to serve our community,” stated a press release from Tap-In.
The East Bay non-profit is also looking for donations of specific items: sheets, comforters or blankets, small appliances (toasters, microwaves, irons, etc), dishes, and children’s clothing for spring or summer. And as always, Tap-In is accepting food donations of non-perishable goods.
People can drop off donations at Tap-In headquarters in the Peck Center lower level, 281 County Road, Barrington, from 9 a.m. to noon Mondays through Fridays.
Anyone who is interested in helping Tap-In with grant-writing, IT work or management, can email Summer Shelly at shsheeley@gmail.com.
