Bristol police made two arrests and investigated claims involving a stolen golf cart and a suspicious drone between Jan. 23-30, 2023.

Bristol PD: A stolen golf cart and two arrests

Monday, Jan. 23
The larceny of a golf cart was reported at Roger Williams University at 9:31 a.m.

A larceny was reported at Mt. Hope High School at 12:37 p.m.

A Narrows Road resident reported their license plates were stolen off their vehicle at 5:03 p.m.

An injured cat was taken to the vet from a location on Herzig Street at 5:47 p.m.

Officers assisted a walker on the Mt. Hope Bridge to the other side at 8:49 p.m.

Tuesday, Jan. 24
Police dispersed a large group of people from the area of Wood Street and Mt. Hope Avenue at 1:03 a.m.

Jessica Rogers, 42, of Bristol was arrested on two warrants at 11:50 a.m. She was charged with simple assault and/or battery, and two counts of domestic violence (vandalism, and disorderly conduct, both first offenses).

Wednesday, Jan. 25
Vandalism was reported in the pavilion area of the Town Beach at 8:11 a.m.

Vandalism was reported on the Mt. Hope Bridge at 10:45 a.m.

Credit card fraud was reported on Hope Street at 2:14 p.m.

Thursday, Jan. 26
Christopher Ouellette, 30, of Fall River, Mass., was arrested on a warrant at 10:07 a.m. and charged with the possession of a Schedule I-V controlled substance, first offense.

Friday, Jan. 27
Police spoke with a Wood Street resident at 7:38 a.m. about unruly juveniles that gather in front of a store.

An injured rabbit was assisted on Charlotte Drive at 9:14 a.m.

A DPW worker reported at 11:14 a.m. that they saw a woman near Franklin Street walk out of the woods, and that he had observed two tents erected in the woods.

A High Street caller requested to speak to police at 11:40 a.m. regarding a drone that was hovering outside their window.

Saturday, Jan. 28
Police investigated a strange odor in the area of Bristol Woods Drive at 4:59 p.m.

Police dispersed an unruly patron from a State Street business at 9:59 p.m.

Police dispersed a large group from the Town Common at 11:54 p.m.

Sunday, Jan. 29
A man on Church Street reported at 8:51 a.m. that there was a man standing in his driveway yelling at passing motorists. Police found the man was no longer outside and didn’t answer the door.

Monday, Jan. 30
An injured deer was reported at 5:32 a.m. in the area of Hope Street and Maple Shade Ct., but it had reportedly left the area when authorities arrived.
