Monday, Sept. 11
A past act of vandalism was reported at Colt/Andrews School on Hope Street at 11:29 a.m.
Harassment was reported on Wood Street at 2:32 p.m. Another report of harassment was logged from Fales Road at 5:48 p.m.
Police received a report of a disorderly man inside a business on Thames Street at 9:06 p.m.
Tuesday, Sept. 12
An attempted scam was reported on Deer Run Road at 10:27 a.m.
Narcotics were reported at Mt. Hope High School at 2:14 p.m.
Police checked into a report that a car was egged the prior week at the Roger Williams University parking garage on Old Ferry Road at 2:26 p.m.
A caller from the Lincoln Club on St. Elizabeth Street requested an ambulance at 4:23 p.m. after alleging an intoxicated man had struck him.
Police responded to Siegel Street at 8:26 p.m. for the report that multiple people were yelling and pushing one another outside of a home there.
Victoria Quintal, 29, of 394 Metacom Ave., Apt. #34, Bristol, was arrested at 8:50 p.m. on Metacom Avenue following the report of an assault in progress. She was charged with breaking and entering of a dwelling with the resident on the premises, simple assault and/or battery, disorderly conduct, and vandalism.
Wednesday, Sept. 13
A Proto Lane resident reported at 10:41 a.m. that they had been the victim of a dog bite the day before.
A Church Street resident reported that patio furniture cushions had been stolen from a bin on the property at 11:03 a.m., but they called back later after finding them.
Thursday, Sept. 14
Police brokered peace between two neighbors on Hopeworth Avenue at 12:00 p.m. involving a grass cutting issue.
Police looked into a report of men yelling at female passersby near Wood Street and Shaws Lane at 5:49 p.m.
Police responded to the area of Evelyn Drive and Hopeworth Avenue at 10:13 p.m. for the report of a possible Roger Williams party. Police found it quiet prior to their arrival.
Friday, Sept. 15
Damage to the door and bathroom at Rogers Free Library was reported at 12:17 p.m.
Police looked in the area of Metacom Avenue and Michael Drive at 1:11 p.m. following a report that rocks were being thrown from the wooded area at passing cars. Nothing was found in the area.
A Peter Road resident reported at 1:22 p.m. that they had seen a man in camouflage leave the area and then found a deer carcass on his property. DEM was notified.
Saturday, Sept. 16
Derrick Borges, 41, of 421 High St., Apt. #1, Bristol, was arrested following an incident on High Street at 1:23 a.m. He was charged with three counts of domestic violence (all first offenses), including refusal to relinquish/damaging or obstructing a telephone, simple assault and/or battery, and disorderly conduct.
A deceased deer was reportedly in the roadway near the Mt. Hope Bridge at 9:28 p.m. DEM was notified for its removal.
Sunday, Sept. 17
Police worked with safety officers from Roger Williams at 3:36 a.m. regarding a student who was possibly assaulted.
A Hope Street resident reported to police that she had pepper sprayed a neighbor around 10:19 a.m. following an incident where the neighbor’s dog had attempted to attack her dog.
An Apple Watch was reported stolen from a display at the Verizon store on Metacom Avenue at 3:00 p.m.
The larceny of a necklace from Beau Blue Boutique & Gifts on Hope Street was reported at 3:36 p.m.
A Tower Street resident reported there was a deer hunting stand on what they believed was an illicit area for such a use at 5:44 p.m.
Monday, Sept. 18
A Brookfarm Drive resident reported at 6:30 a.m. that her purse was stolen from her vehicle overnight.
