The Bristol Sports Club celebrated its Diamond Anniversary on Saturday night. Established in 1961 to encourage high level soccer in Bristol’s Portuguese community, the evening was highlighted by an array of speakers, including longtime member and former club secretary John Paul Motta, sports reporter John Gonsalves and former standout soccer player Herman Mello.
