Bristol Warren 12U all-stars fall to Pawtucket 4-0, move to loser's bracket

The Bristol Warren 12U all-star team fell to Pawtucket 4-0 in the second round of the District 2 tournament at Vets Memorial Park in Bristol last week. They now move on to host Barrington in a loser’s bracket game on July 5 at 5:45 p.m.

Starting pitcher Ryan Thompson struck out 9 batters and allowed 6 hits, 2 walks, 1 hit batsman and 4 runs in 5 innings. The Bristol Warren offense managed just 3 hits against Pawtucket pitcher Eli Quackenbush.

Bristol Warren pounded Middletown 12-1 in the opening round last Monday.
