Letter: On last week’s article about the family safe

To the editor:

I very much appreciate the lovely article written by Christy Nadalin “Cracked safe finds family treasures” in the Sept. 8, 2022 issue of the Bristol Phoenix.

But one important fact was omitted. When my aunt, Jessie Molasky, died in 1991, the building was left to both me and my brother, Elliot M. Stone.
It is very important to me , that Elliot’s widow (Janie), and Elliot’s sons (Robert and Jeffrey), have his name acknowledged.

On a lesser note, as a child during the 4th of July week, I did not sell things that I had made. I am not that talented.

I sold my comic books and spent the money at the festivities on the Commons.

The article brought up many wonderful memories of times that Elliot and I spent in Bristol with our parents and with the Molaskys.

That building will always hold a special place in my heart. Thank you.
