To the editor:
As the Vice-Chairman and Parade Chairman of the last two years, I would like to send a big heartfelt thank you to the town officials of Bristol, the Bristol Police Department, the Bristol Fire Department, the Department of Public works and paramedics for assisting the Bristol Fourth of July in another successful “Oldest Celebration in the Nation.” I appreciated all that you did to keep us safe and protected during all the events.
To the Bristol Fourth of July Committee, volunteers and community members who helped with all the coordination, I say thank you, and you are all amazing people! I know we couldn’t have a had such a wonderful day without all your countless hours of hard work, determination, and sacrifice. Our team of volunteers, led by the General Chairman, Chuck MacDonough, is a team that I’m proud to be part of.
I send a sincere thank you to all, I’m proud to live in Bristol and come from a small town, with BIG HEART!!
Sending a big Camille hug from me to you!
