Letter: The good old days

To the editor:

As my 65th high school reunion is quickly approaching on July 2, I dug out my yearbook. What impressed me the most was that on one page was a picture of a class praying with the caption “Time for God”. On the next page was a picture of a class with their hands over their heart facing the American Flag with the caption “Time for Our Country”.

Those were the good old days. They say the country is progressing, but in what direction?
