EAST PROVIDENCE — The annual Neighborhood Day, sponsored by the East Providence Neighborhood Day Coalition along with the City of East Providence and the Boys & Girls Club of East Providence, took place on Saturday, Aug. 20, at the Onna Moniz Park/Central Avenue Playground.

Highlights of the event include the Jamal Jackson basketball tournament and dunk contest, E.P. police and fire department “Touch-a-Truck,” National Guard “Rock Wall,” live DJ, field games, face-painting, free school backpack giveaways, hamburgers, hot dogs and more.
