EAST PROVIDENCE — The undefeated Facility of Dreams Mariners captured the 2024 Big East Metro League Major Baseball Division championship Friday night, June 14, at the Kimberly Rock Complex in Rumford.

The title game, in fact, was a meeting two Rumford Little League squad as the Mariners defeated the Packaging & More Padres 2-0 in the championship game. Facility of Dreams finished its season with a perfect 15-0 record.

The Big East Metro League consists of of 10 teams from Rumford, Riverside and East Providence is city as well as the Fox Point section of Providence along with the Darlington and Pineview Little Leagues from Pawtucket.

The Facility of Dreams Mariners roster and staff (pictured) included: players — Logan Silverio, Paddy Shea, Jared Machado, Preston Nicholas, Julianna Carroll, Abbie Taylor, Tegan Smith, Kasen Barros, Jameson Bazar, Donovan Bazar, Vincent Fisher, Brady Furtado; coaches — Mike Fisher, Sam Bazar, PJ Shea, Bob Long, Justin Barros.
