The 18th Annual Townie Pride Parade took school and city spirit to new levels this past Friday night at East Providence High School, featuring costume-clad mascots leading scores of students rocking their school colors around the high school track in a beloved tradition that marches educators, parents and their children into the new school year.
The raucous environment must have charged up the girls varsity soccer team, too, as they took the fight to Toll Gate and shut them out in a commanding 3-0 victory following the pre-game fun.
