Tiverton dinghy dock lottery underway — reserve your spot

Posted

Tiverton residents can now take part in a lottery for one of a dozen dinghy spaces created at the town's new dinghy dock at the Stonebridge Abutment.

The lottery is open to both Tiverton and non-Tiverton residents, on a three-to-one ratio. Those interested in securing a spot are encouraged to apply; details and an application form can be found on the town website.

Those awarded a spot will also receive a parking spot on town-owned property near the dock on Hillside Avenue. Stickers will be issued for both the dinghy and one car. The fee is $350 for the season, which runs Sunday, May 15 through Sunday, Oct. 15.

The rental is for one season and the lottery will be an annual event.
