Doing Halloween right in Common Fence Point!

PORTSMOUTH — Once again, hundreds of ghouls, goblins, ghosts and more descended upon Common Fence Point for a Halloween parade and spooky festivities on Monday.

After a Zumba dance routine performed by a group of “witches” carrying brooms outside the CFP Arts, Wellness, and Community Center, members of the Portsmouth High School band played a few Elvis Presley songs that are part of the group’s halftime show.

The band then led costumed families down Common Fence Point Boulevard, before it looped back up Rhode Island Boulevard. From there the parade dispersed and marchers went trick-or-treating throughout the neighborhood.
