Portsmouth High band brings sweet dreams — and nightmares!

PORTSMOUTH — The theme of the Portsmouth High School Marching Band’s halftime show this year is “When Dreams Become Nightmares,” and the group debuted it last Thursday during the football team’s home opener against South Kingstown.

The show featured “I Dreamed a Dream,” from Les Miserables; the “Halloween” theme; “Sweet Dreams,” by The Eurythmics; and “Thriller,” by Michael Jackson.
